Casas do Pátio

The bed was very comfortable and the location was perfect.

We loved the bathroom/shower .. had a nice glass of wine on the patio .. the big fridge was wonderful .. bed was comfy too.

No negative energy at all

It was my second time in Casas, I didnt expect to get a very small room, but the owner made me an upgrade. Be careful choosing the room, the previous time I stayed in a bigger one and liked it more.

The fire alarm was on three nights out of 10 with no obvious reasons

Great location just off lovely little plaza close to cozy little cafes, bars and excellent gelati. Well-design modern studio with everything you need for a short stay.

Great location in the city center, very quiet room, with nice outdoor space. The house had all the things we needed to cook. Comfortable bed. Nice shower.

There are a lot of stairs. It's visible on the website, but still... Even the access to front door has some stairs and a ramp. For people with a kid in a stroller it's not easy. We've managed, but not everyone will. The outdoor space could be cleaner,

Kettle does not pour well..another mirror would be useful

The location and the amenities were great.

There was no privacy between our unit and the unit opposite us across the courtyard, because in order to have privacy one needed to close the shutters, therefore no natural light came through the windows and the windows could not be fully opened for ventilation.

The location is exceptional, the attention from the staff was perfect. The apartment was quite clean, with very nice accommodations and stupendous sunlight. WiFi, wine, coffee, everything you need for a perfect welcome after a long trip. The view from the window was also quite nice.

Both of these are nitpicks aiming to suggest improvements for an already great experience. They have a slight humidity problem that's noticeable when you enter the facilities, as there is a mat that could be removed to reduce its impact when entering the building. The shower has a drain system that was clogged when we arrived, so it was annoying to have to remove it to keep the shower from overflowing.

We booked this accommodation last minute because we ran into some cleanliness issues at a previous property we were staying at. They communicated with us immediately and were very accommodating by allowing us to drop off our bags early, which we really appreciated. The unit is so stylish which we loved. We liked having a kitchenette to make coffee and breakfast. The location was the highlight for us. We loved staying right in town.

The apartment was fairly clean with only a couple exceptions - the mirror had water/toothpaste marks on it, there were a couple hairs in the bathroom shower and the windowsills were covered in stone dust. We were being really particular considering we left the previous place because it wasn’t clean, but overall we thought it was good. A minor downside was the hill up to the apartment. We had lots of bags and had to make multiple trips to get there. Other than taking our luggage up there, we didn’t mind walking up the hill.

Great areas and deco, good potential for families

Unfortunately the apartment (casa do selo) was dusty and had mould. There was a mouldy smell- we had to sleep with the windows open all night. Our pajamas were also left with a mouldy smell! We have a kid with asthma so this was nit a nice experience to say the least.
