We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and comfy space for 2. No trouble with the noise despite being right by the Arch and Tower of Almedina.

The location is right in the center of the city and close to most of the touristic spots. They give you a free bottle of wine! (which we couldn't enjoy because we are on meds right now)

Our room got assigned to someone else on the second day by mistake, so we were in the room in our pajamas when somebody just opened our door, looked at us, and closed the door. The host apologized afterwards and changed our access code, but the whole thing was quite upsetting. The washing machine is shared and not located in the room, so a bit more information about how to access it would be nice. The bed needs some assembly as it drops down over the couch (our fault for not realizing it while making the reservation), so you loose some useful space for your luggage. The WiFi was also quite spotty and would keep disconnecting all the time. The bathroom door would not close completely.

Location was excellent. Close to everything. Nice restaurants and Fado Show around the corner. The apartment was super clean and the patio in back was beautiful. The host was great.... I mentioned they needed batteries for a remote but they could get them for the next guest....we were fine. When we got back to apartment there was a pack of batteries at the door. This is a great place to stay in Coimbra.

My only issue was the kitchen cabinets. I'm 6'2 and I probably hit my head on the cabinets 5 times. They stick out really far for cabinets over the sink.... Most properties don't put deep cabinets over the sink area. It's a small gripe....My 5'6 wife did not have an issue. By the 3rd day I stopped hitting my head.

The kitchen was well equipped. The bedroom was huge with lovely bright light from the windows opening unto a narrow street with several restaurants. The music they played was lovely, very mellow, light jazz.

Nothing.

We appreciated the location of the apartments (2 couples) with proximity to restaurants and all sites in Coimbra. We first had some difficulty finding the apartment but Diana was very helpful in helping with directions and luggage. The apartments were comfortable with the essentials there. But the finishes are basics and somewhat cheaply made, perhaps it's the look they're after. We had a little issue with one of the AC but Diana came right back to fix it for us. Communication with the property was easy and quick. We also asked for restaurant recommendations and they were great!

The location is very central which we appreciated, but with that comes some noise from neighbors and unruly students. But mainly the logistics of offloading and loading a car (if you have one). You are lucky if you find a parking spot nearby on the narrow streets of old Coimbra and parking temporarily is a difficult task. There's a parking lot down the hill and across the river which is very reasonably priced. It just requires some planning!
