Heraklion Center Seaview Penthouse

Sehr schönes Apartment mit toller Terrasse mit Blick auf den Hafen. Es ist alles da, was man braucht, bequeme Betten, sehr, sehr netter und hilfsbereiter Vermieter. Einfach super!

Die Lage ist recht laut, da der Flughafen nicht weit ist. Ist aber in Heraklion fast überall so.

Overall great. Everything we needed at excellent value with an amazing sea view. George is an attentive host, he offered an extensive list of recommendations. He was quick to respond when we had difficulty accessing the apartment. Bottle of wine and coffee pods included. No parking directly by the property, but we managed to find free parking on road leading to the property every evening on our stay.

Bed is firm (but that’s just preference)

Perfectly located, this apartment had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean and fully furnished and the welcoming wine and grapes were a lovely gesture. It is located right at the edge of the old town and thus perfectly situated for exploring Heraklion on foot. The view from the terrace is lovely, too. It is, however, right in the exit zone for the planes leaving from Heraklion's airport, so do expect it to get quite noisy throughout the day!

The mattress is rather hard and the constant noise from the airplanes starting takes a while to get used to.

The host left a wonderful watermelon for us on the fridge, together with a wine bottle, which became our standard brand of wine since. The view was gorgeous, and we had our happy hour drinks on the terrace. The location was very good and everything was reachable on foot.

The location stood on the take-off path for the planes leaving Heraklion. Which meant that every 30 minutes a plane passed by very loudly.

Host George was helpful in making it a smooth process in getting to and accessing the penthouse space.. The bottle of red wine and fruits that greeted us was perfect.. The space was cosy and everything we required was there. All amenities were within strolling distance of the apartment for food and supplies. the balcony area allowed us an amazing view across to the port of heraklion.. Any questions were answered immediately and recommendations provided for activities throughout our stay.. In short we will return to Greece! And 5 ⭐ to the host who made it a warm and comfortable experience for me and my partner katy. Efcharisto!

The apartment was exceptional especially regarding space, facilities,cleanliness, and of course the great location, not to mention the large veranda overlooking the sea and the harbour! The host was very helpful and made us feel at home! Thanks George for the great experience we had!
