The setting was beautiful private and friendly, room clean when requested

Towels were only changed every three days and toilet paper was not checked

The staff were amazing, very helpful, if you stay out here you need to get a bike to all shops costs around $2 Aus ... this place is in the middle of Rice fields Stunning views, downstairs rooms don't have fridge & my bathroom smelt, they moved me upstairs was brilliant & fridge. I stayed for 20 nights & really fell in love with this place. There is a few food options within walking distance warong to the left & weeks cafe down the road called You somthing, best Veg soup. Great spa within walking distance Kubu Sari can tell you the name ... No mosquitoes, so long as you closed your door around 5 pm not one mosquito came upstairs

- surrounding area is peaceful and very pretty - garden area is super cute and chill - staff is lovely, smiling all the time - cute house pets like cat and dog

- The gym costs 40k per person and per entry, which is not stated in the booking offer. There it seemed like the gym was included so we felt a bit disappointed when we found out, but still went to use the gym multiple times. I would advise them to give this clue on the photo of the gym in booking so it is transparent - the bathroom smell was unbearable. We could only go in the bathroom when breathing through our mouth. It smelt like rotten cabbage… - we rented a bike from them for 5 days. We returned it a bit late (few hours) on our last day but when we handed the key they were friendly and didn’t say anything. The next day we left and got a WhatsApp message in the afternoon, saying we still need to pay 50k for returning the bike late. Apparently they had forgotten to tell us that when we returned the key. We told them we left Ubud but they were saying that we need to find a way to pay them…? I’m sorry but we were guests and it’s not our fault they forgot to charge us that. Let alone that it’s only 2€ and we returned the bike with too much Gas. They insisted we pay them somehow but honestly, we stayed with them 5 nights, rented a bike from them and payed extra for the gym, even as guests. That was a bit of a bummer!

We had two rooms, one was ok, the other quite different

The double room Ac loud and did not cool, during the night there is a pump which comes off and on. Overall the room was not that clean, the bathroom especially, the complete floor does not drain and stays wet making the whole room damp. Little maintenance, the shower has a few streams of water only as the head has not been cleaned in so long. Only one power socket in the room worked and the lights flicker on and off

Love the quietness it's easy to get into the centre of town. And this stay is a beautiful escape from the hustle bustle. Pool was beautiful and the views really nice. Staff are so nice and friendly.
