Kubu Sari Ubud

This place is amazing. The swimming pool and gym are excellent and exceeded my expectations. The gym is fully equipped and spacious and the swimming pool is big with a beautiful view of nearby rice fields. The staff is extremely helpful, they waited for us till 2am for check in when our bus was late. They also rented the scooter to us. The rooms have AC, are spacious and comfortable. Great place.

Not super clean. Even with the screen, bugs easily enter the rooms due to poor insulation. AC also wasn’t super effective. Further, they charge you if you use the gym facility even though in the booking it says it’s included.

Beautiful rice fields next to the property, well equipped rooms, and beautiful garden.

Bathroom didn’t smell pleasant, and the pool seemed dirty.

The next room that was booked was bigger, had a nice balcony with kitchen, and the view to the rice fields. D sunset was excellent.

The bathroom in this new room also smelled unpleasant.

I love the view and the surroundings

In negative point of view i can say, There is no television , mini fridge no water bottle, u need to provide on your own, the towel never replace on their own , only provide once since a day u arrived and untill u check out, the house keeping wash those utensils that we use as they provide in the room ,for us to use in case u have to bring food to the room, but they never wash properly with dish washing liquid , it looks like they are only rinseng and put back the same place , the bath tub in the toilet i notice only they are rinseng after cleaning , and has not scrub and wash it off properly , it just rinseng only and they are not use a soap or especial cleaning tools to wash and clean properly, the pillow and cushion that we use the moment we arrived i notice has a stained on it , the bed sheet and things looks old and outdated , the house keeper only tidy the room , but has not clean properly. I do understood that the price they offer has to live that way according to what u can expected ,. My positive point of view to the host and the lady house keeper, they are freindly and very polite to us, the hospitality they offer to us was beyond my expectations , they cared for the guest who stay in their premises especially , during rainy days , that i back late at night with grandma' with me i thankful to- me tuh the host house guest lady and the young lady housekeeper, whose name i forgott anyway thanks for the hospitality u showed us i do appreciate. However i have to be honest in my heart and in my mind , that what i wrote here , is fare and square so that others who want to stay in this guest house , may fully aware on what they can expect , Thanks !!

The staff were amazing, big boss, Kedé, and Putu boss lady went above and beyond to help me. The rice paddies are breathtaking, I saw the sunrise from the property and it was beautiful, so peaceful

Some days the room wasn’t cleaned, rubbish wasn’t taken out, or towels weren’t changed. Also, the showers are quite old and dirty but they work. The toilet bowl was moving too, it was not secured properly to the floor and felt unstable when seating. The kitchen was messy and not very tidy, cutlery and plates were everywhere, and not safely stored, and the fridge was so dirty inside and out. The kitchen part was the only thing, that did not allow me to give it a perfect score. There was a really bad smell coming out of it.

The pool was good, gym was even better and using the terrace as my office was an amazing experience. Being family run there is a real sense of community there and actually, after a month stay, I kinda miss the place.

I stayed here 11 nights in a nice room with good views of green landscape. The facilities are basic - no water, tea, coffee, soap or shampoo are provided. No breakfast or food available despite property being advertised as having a restaurant. Not many shops close by so you really need transport. I rented a scooter from them which was great. Road nearby is small but surprisingly noisy. Pool is ok but could do with a clean. Overall I think this property is better suited to longer stays.
