Shin Toji Hotel Lulud

This place far exceeded my expectations. It is easily accessible from both bus and train. Many other attractions and restaurants in walking distance. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I ended up eating most of my meals here because the food was incredibly delicious. The onsen has two many pools, one inside and one outside. The only sauna there is available for an affordable private rental of 80 minutes. Super clean and tidy and lots of common space to either find space near people or alone. Large shared kitchen. Highly recommend staying here.

I think the property was there for the nearby summer activity . Very little people was there during our stay on winter Feb. And we love the quietness and freedom to park anywhere, for free. And also the onsen that - most of the time , only us was using .

The hot water in the in-room sink wasn't functioning, seemingly an ongoing issue across all rooms since the hotel's inception because an aged notice was by the sink. Amidst winter weather, the water was freezing cold, the lack of hot water made our stays uncomfortable. Can’t even use the toilet without a functional sink. We need to use the the shared bathroom for everything, situated two floors below, was also chilly since there was not much guest and we need to manually turn on the heater upon usage . We had to anticipate this 30 minutes before use as there was not much guest in the hotel. Additionally, interactions with the receptionist were not pleasant; when requesting an extra pillow, the response was a terse "no extra pillow." Despite chatting with the hotel a few times upon our arrival, we were not queried about dinner arrangements upon arrival at 8 pm. We were informed that the set dinner required booking a day in advance, and the nearest dining option was over an hour's drive away. Moreover, guests were responsible for finding and assembling their futon bed, a task we resorted to completing with online assistance.

The atmosphere is nice. the staff are very accommodating and friendly too. the amenities are also good as they have a complete kitchen along with nice relaxing spaces. the fiid was great!

Modern, clean, not too crowded.
