The Mill House

Beautiful property in a beautiful location, Robert and K.C were so welcoming and approachable. They and their property helped make a special weekend extra special.

There was absolutely nothing to dislike about this property

Exceptional in every way. The hosts went above and beyond to facilitate us as a family of 14. Age 2 - 80. They delivered far beyond our expectations in every way. The house and “ stables” are the perfect place for everyone to get together. The fact that it felt like home for 3 generations and everyone felt completely relaxed and entirely welcome is difficult to achieve but Robert and KC have genuinely achieved this and then some! I could not recommend highly enough. Thankyou so much.

I am 5ft 9 and the twin room had lovely beds that were super comfy with a foot and head board and my feet kept touching the foot board base didn’t cause me any major issues but would have been nice to stretch out fully

Where to start, the Mill House is like a magical place. We were in awe as we drove along the drive, absolutely stunning property and gardens. As we entered the house, it was like the gift that just kept giving. Robert showed us round the kitchen, dining room lounge, and to our room, which well was divine, bathroom was stunning with underfloor heating. plus, we had access to our own balcony where there was a table and chairs, which overlooked the beautiful garden We were asked if we wanted a television in our room, as many go just to switch off from 'life', we accepted, and it was an all singing dancing one. At breakfast, we were treated to an absolute feast of fresh fruit, cereals, yoghurt, different choices of bread, preserves, homemade croissants, and buns. At breakfast, Robert and KC came to chat, telling us of places to visit, always there to answer our questions, we were made to feel like we belonged there, always on hand if we needed anything. When it poured down one day, on our return, there were towels on a heated airer so we could get dry and hang our wet clothes up. Excellent value for the money, and when we return to the Isle of Man, there will be no reason to look at any other places, 100% recommend The Mill House and the beautiful people who are Robert and KC. Mill house is the perfect place to stay to explore the beautiful Isle of Man. Robert and KC were wonderful hosts and we hope to visit again.

Nothing

Hosts were wonderful, lots of nice little touches, children loved their continental breakfast each morning. A lovely little find with plenty of room for the children to explore the grounds. Rooms were lovely and clean, plenty of hot water and powerful showers, bed were comfortable.

There wasn't anything we didn't like

Our room at the Mill House exceeded our expectations and the owners, Robert and KC were the perfect hosts and nothing was too much trouble, in fact, KC even made banana muffins every other dy and left them out for the guests.

Breakfast was excellent. Room was very comfortable.

We loved everything about this home, karen and rob greeted us on arrival, we could not have asked for more
