Lemon Tree Santa Cruz

staff were very friendly and helpful, hostel was modern!

toilets were not clean and there was no hand soap in one of the bathrooms for the entirety of our stay. there was an outbreak of a stomach bug whilst we were there which left us and many others violently ill. we were woken up in the night multiple times hearing other people vomit, which isn’t ideal. the staff didn’t seem to acknowledge the sanitary problem / sickness bug and no extra cleaning was done.

Clean and the staff is really nice Food is cheap and good and the place is amazing

Best hostel at the lake! Perfect, calm spot at the lake in a quiet area, just a 4 mins walk to main peer - newly built with lots of love and details and super kind owner who is willing to help a lot! Plus super nice roof terrace and a little puppy 💛 there is also a restaurant where you can eat.

This is a great place to stay if you want to enjoy Santa Cruz and not pay a lot at the other hostels. I slept, showered and did yoga on the roof top at lemon tree and would go spend my days at free cervezas and swim in between. The restaurant in lemon tree is super good!

The hostel is new so there are still a few unfinished things When the roof terrace is open and there are kitchen facilities it should be a good choice There are other accommodation for a little bit extra cost with access to the lakeshore

Good wifi, comfortable beds & well priced for the area. The hostel also had a “Mr Taco” restaurant which was SO good, food was 10/10.

Not the most social place - but we were staying in a couple so not a problem at all for us. Other hostels within walking distance if you wanted to socialise anyway.

The beds were so clean it felt like never slept it before and there is wifi in the bed unlike some other hostels in the area like Iguana which only has wifi in the “Wifi Zone”

There’s not too many guests because this place is new. But you can always just walk to iguana or free cerveza for that.

The location and the facilities are nice
