Lemon Tree Santa Cruz

Thick, comfy beds; friendly staff; overall cute vibes for this new/developing hostel; nice view and meditation area from the roof; lockers

Would have appreciated some more socializing but it also meant the hostel wasn’t noisy

I liked the vibe and aesthetics, the location was good, and the staff were lovely.

There was no curtains or privacy on the beds, only one plug socket in the bed room, and the toilets were dirty

I loved my stay at Lemon Tree. The people are so lovely there! The location is great, with a good view from the roof and a nice terrace. The bed was comfy and the bedding was super soft. They just opened the hostel a few weeks back and still do some improvements here and there, but that didn't interfere with my stay at all. The hostel is definitively a win for Santa Cruz! Thank you!

Far away from noise and beds are super comfortable, ideal for sleeping, kitchen was alright, wi-fi works, everything was clean, staff was incredibly good. The common areas, co-working space and terrace look nice, lots of cactus everywhere.

It was a bit tricky to find it

They charged us 2.5x the amount it was written on Booking. They never told us until the last day. Hostel wasn’t suppose to be open yet, they said they had difficulty with booking. Hosts are very kind, but for the same price you can get better. Not well placed compare to other hostels. They charge you 2.5x the price but there is no service, no locker for personal stuff, bathrooms doesn’t flush, no hot water for shower.. think they could delay their opening and do some modifications.

Friendly staff owner is very helpfull. Very comfortable beds. Clean. Nice view from terrace. Very new hostel so some parts need some finishing up, but we really see the potential of this hostel and liked our stay. We are curious how it will be when it is fully finished.

Shower not always hot some days it was hot others ot wasnt. We missed a hanger for our clothes in the shower.

It was maximum super chill. Clean and safe. Nice lights in the evening. Nice helpful staff.

To get from the hostel to main city either u need to walk to a mountain to reach it either take a tuk tuk 10q one way. My room had no doors so light and noises came all night long if anyone was doing anything and couldnt control it. Beds are a bit shorter than usuall.
