Sojourn DuPont at The Circle

A prime location a block from the Metro and The Pembrooke. The bar and dining scene at The Pembrooke is first class! During the storm the stairs were salted to ensure safety. The room was cozy and very comfortable for our stay and offered a nice view of the street from the bay window. The communication in preparation of our stay was excellent and set us up for success. The Welcome Letter and a couple of bottles of water in the room was a nice touch.

More toilet paper and kleenex. We would not be on-site when housekeeping was so it was difficult to request for more of these items. Having an additional comfortable seat or small couch would have been nice so we could watch TV together without sitting on the bed.

Location. Close to Dupont Circle. Bed and pillows were very comfortable.

Keypad on the door doesn't look like one until you touch it to light up. Old style bathtub and shower, but it's fine. Easy to get used to it.

Location and charm

The interior door handle fell off. The chair is old and tired. Also, should have a small loveseat to accommodate two people if needed. TV instructions would be nice, printed out next to the TV

OK call me an old, naive midwesterner but until I got the e mail telling me about the 2 codes one for the door and one for the room I was UNAWARE OF A STAFFLESS HOTEL, I THOUGHT The address looked like a private home so I went TO another Sojourn address nearby. There was nothing on he door that said Sojourn or the fact that it was a hotel. the second location looked more like a hotel, I had left my phone in the Uber (got it back later)so I called your emergency number on the phone of one of the tennants who was nice enough to answer the door, I was then directed back to the other location and he was good enough to walk me back to the original location as it was nearly midnight by that time.

I had trouble getting in the door of my room, but with the help of another tennant I did. So folks you should let people know up front what the nature of your business is. That they must have 2 codes and how to enter the room code. TAlso the fact that there is no staff on site and most of all have your Sojourn sign on the door, I was in a residential neighborhood and thought it was a private home!!Yes the price was good but the hassle with not understanding what the nature of your business is was, was terrible.

great location, near metro, restaurants, bakery/coffee shop.

We are Senior couple and using an old cast iron tub/shower was challenging and slippery. Getting up and down narrow steps with luggage was a little challenging. Room could use another luggage rack. Bathroom sink can use maintenance...loose spout and very low water pressure.
