Beautiful Oceanview Retreat 2 Bedroom Home

It was very quiet and peaceful there. Yet conveniently close by car to local shopping. There were nice views and a pleasant landscaping out the main windows. The owner was also very nice to deal with.

It wasn't fancy, but we expected that and were fine.

The hosts were very welcoming though we had a bit of a language gap, hospitality is a universal language. The place was very clean and well-appointed with comfortable furniture. The lighting could use some finessing - the two floor laps are far too bright to use as lamps, though good for lighting up the whole room. The views from the living room and kitchen are beautiful - with a long, narrow rock-scape garden that falls gently toward a view of the Sound just beyond the main house. We were welcome to walk down there and use the sitting area overlooking the water behind the house.

I didn't cook in the kitchen so cannot speak to how well it is equipped with pots and pans. Appliances looked good. If the tub is ever replaced, a walk-in shower would be a better use of that space. I like the bathroom, wish it had a window but that's just me. There was very little not to like, though I wish I could have told the hosts that we appreciate the care that has gone into the house and the beautiful gardens.

Kitchen is not well equipped so you must bring everything you need including slices, condiments, Saran Wrap, etc,

Excellent place to stay to visit the eastern part of the Olympic Peninsula. Very nice sandy beaches nearby, with wildlife and possibilities to swim and walk around. The house itself is great, with two relatively large double bedrooms, a nice sofa and dinner table, and most importantly a very well equipped kitchen. Washing machine and dryer are also on site.

Nothing to add or change to the property, this place is a gem. Minor remark: if you could handle the payment via Booking.com in the future, that would be better, especially for foreign tourists like us.

Beautiful location and view. Easy to access and loved the privacy. The decor was ocean-themed and exceeded our expectations. Communication with host was almost immediate & very accomadating. Loved it the minute our family walked in. Bonus: cold waters & diet Cokes in the fridge.

Love it all except the weather: We arrived on one of the hottest days. It was very hot when we first arrived, but we were able to open all the windows & each bedroom had a fan. We ate outside on the patio while the house cooled down.

Host was exceptional! Lots of communication, easy check in and check out. Incredibly comfy beds and pillows :) The host worked magic so we could check in early. Caretakers next door that were there in case we needed anything. Incredibly nice people! Stocked with coffee and other drinks. Very cute set up.

We could only find one pot for cooking, but we made it work!

Beautiful house and furnishings. Good view and easy to get to places.
