"Superb"

9.0

Accommodation homely and full of owners quirky / fun personal touches. The host thoughtfully supplied extras such as games books and even a picnic basket.

Nothing in particular as had been forewarned about the parking

"A charming little gem in central Whitstable—perfectly located, beautifully kept, and full of seaside"

9.0

Despite booking late and very little on the Market, this place was a Gem. close to town but far enough to avoid the noise. street parking is available but it one in one out.

On the last morning, we wandered around town looking for a bin big enough to fit the rubbish in (not ideal), but we understand why—tip tip: take a small bag into town each time you go.

The cottage is in an excellent location close to the town. It is well appointed and was spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable and have lovely thick duvets. The coffee machine is a nice touch.

The radiators need bleeding as they kept making a loud tapping noise on and off which was a bit annoying at night. It would have been nice if there would have been logs provided so we could have used the log burner as it was only April when we visited, although the cottage wasn't cold. Finding on street parking nearby is a bit of a gamble. It wouldn't be ideal if you had kids.

"Comfortable, homely house within easy reach of the town centre and seaside"

9.0

The location is very good, as it is only a short walk to the town centre and the sea beyond. The house is very comfortable with a nice atmosphere and lots of nice, personal touches. The shower was good and the kitchen was well equipped for all that we needed. We appreciated the nice sunny patio at the back that had the sun most of the day (mainly used in the morning).

With the sea air, the house was a little damp at first but airing the rooms for a few hours sorted this out and it did not bother us. This is no reflection on the hosts who did everything to help and had another let immediately after us but we struggled to find anywhere in Whitstable to leave our luggage on the last day after check-out.

Great central location

Bathroom could do with a little bit of maintenance, toilet seat was wobbly and holder for shower would not stay up

"A lovely cottage in a special place."

9.0

Has everything there that you need. Lovely log burner and 2 good sized rooms. In a good location near the high street.

Some problems with parking near by, but drive round the area and you usually can find a space somewhere eventually.

"Comfortable and cozy short stay over the new year"

7.0

Cozy, comfortable and warm cottage which catered for everything we needed. The cottage is located near the high street not far from the seafront.

In the description it says that wood for the fire place isn’t provided. The problem for us was that we travelled by train and couldn’t bring logs along with us. By the time we arrived most shops were closed and the nearest garage was out of logs. The host might consider providing logs for a fee, something we have had with other holiday rentals. Or at least provide clear instructions were to purchase logs.
