Solar Powered Camps Bay Sea View Apartment

Great location. Nice size.

Very wet and damp. Smell of mold. Incl. Some mold stains. Please fix this.

We really enjoyed our stay! The apartment felt very safe, and the neighborhood was calm and private. It's convenient for those traveling by car, as there’s a parking spot right in front of the apartment (though it’s on the street and not secured). The kitchen was well-equipped with everything you might need, including salt, pepper, a large fridge, a small oven, and even a few treats left by the host (alwqys a nice gesture!). It was great for making quick breakfasts or cooking a full meal. The host was also very quick to give response and instructions on how to enter the property via WhatsApp, and was very kind to check up on us. The apartment also smelled very clean when we arrived, which made a lovely first impression. Camps Bay area is very nice and if you like calmer and it's more private and calm compared to Sea Point!

Just a few minor downsides. If you rely on Uber, be aware that it might take a bit longer for a ride to arrive in this area. The bathroom was somewhat unusually located between the bedroom and the living room, which took a bit of getting used to, but it wasn’t a major issue. Over time, we noticed the apartment tended to get quite humid, so we kept the windows open as much as possible to help with that. That did raise a small concern about mosquitoes, although we fortunately didn’t encounter any. All and all, nothing that we would complain about!

The location of the house is really good. We booked this house because we thought it was safe and it was very safe. I recommend you to stay in this house.

It would be great if there was air conditioning.
