The food is very good. The room was just ok. Staff very nice

Friendly pub.

Unsuitable floor covering. Worn out mattress. No basic bathroom supplies. The bathroom light that was switched off from the bar at night especially as there are three steps down to the bathroom. Lack of cleanliness. Gaps around door. Glass above door uncovered letting light in all night. Dirty, used, disposable cups.

The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was efficient and the room was warm.

The laminate floor was lifting in places, there was a tatty piece of cord for the pull switch in the bathroom. there were two bare bulbs, there was no remote control for the television, part used tablet of soap and not even a plastic spoon for making drinks.

Quirky and something different. Friendly helpful staff. Clean.

Basic room. Found bed to soft and uncomfortable. Outside stairs to room can be tricky when wet.

Friendly owner ,however chef was terrible meal at dinner sent back stone cold and wrong meat.very noisy until 01.00 am

Very warm welcome on arrival and good atmosphere in the pub. Good size accommodation and private entrance. Very basic decor but clean with everything you needed for a short stay.

As a light sleeper, I always carry earplugs and eye covers, both of which were required. The conversations from the bar below could be easily heard, as the soundproofing in the floor was not sufficient enough to dampen it. Plus, there is a cockerell nearby that announced the rising sun. There is a glass section in the door frame that had no curtains and therefore allowed light into the bedroom area.
