Great location, rooms clean great value for money. and Good atmosphere.

Private access so no restriction on coming & going. Pub meals good and nice garden to relax in. Bar staff friendly.

No bin provided in bathroom or bedroom. Would like to have had breakfast but couldn't access pub or find anyone around. Guess more info on arrival would have been helpful. Room was comfortable though and had all we needed.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good.

No shower.

The room was fine for myself, an attic room above the pub. Bed looked like a new one, and bedding clean and fresh. New looking rugs and mats dotted around. A kettle was there and tea and coffee provided. There was a TV, but I didn't try it out. You had your own entrance up an external staircase. Pat, who showed me to the room was friendly and welcoming.. If you just want a basic room to spend a few nights at a reasonable price, this fits the bill. I liked that it was a bit quirky.

It would have been nice to have a shower, the water in the hand basin was piping hot, but the bath tap water was only warm.. We had very warm weather during my stay, so I didn't mind. There was a big wardrobe, but no hangers. An electric socket next to the bed would have been handy, and a bedside lamp. There is space in the room that you could have a little desk or dressing table with a few drawers.. Just to add a bit more comfort to the room. If there was just a shower added to the bathroom, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again..
