ZAGREB 2 Botanical Garden Budget Apartment

First of all, I liked the comfort of the apartment because I had access to an interior yard. On the other hand, it’s a fully equipped apartment where you can cook, relax, and the best part is its location right in front of the Botanical Garden

Kaputte Bettwäsche, unbequemes altes Bett.

The place is close to the center... not very close... around 15-20 minutes walk (I added photo from Google maps showing the exact distance) It was reasonably clean

Facilities mentioned in the booking included air-conditioning and a mosquito net... Unfortunately, neither was available! The AC was out of order, and when I complained to the owner, he said the weather is fine at the apartment and I don't need AC! Well, I wouldn't have needed it if there was a MOSQUITO NET! I had to leave the window open, and tens of insects, including big mosquitos and tiny black butterflies, were my roommates! As for the kitchen, the electric kettle was in a horrible shape, the inside is completely worn out and you cannot use it at all, i had to boil water for my coffee using the super slow electric oven and a small pot that was there Towels are almost see-through and very worn-out The soap that was provided in the kitchen and the bathroom was diluted with water to give the impression that the bottles were full, but you would have to use large amounts for simply washing your hands The shower cabin is ridiculously small! I'm 155 cm tall and considered a petite person, yet i found it really challenging to take a shower I communicated with Booking.com customer service regarding the incorrect data that was provided about the facilities but received no reply... very disappointed I've added a screenshot from facilities that included (Air Conditioning & Mosquito Net) where the owner had commented that my review was ridiculous because I mentioned they were incorrectly mentioned in the facilities

super lage: man kann vom busbahnhof direkt mit der straßenbahn hinfahren, vom hauptbahnhof ist es eine station oder ein kurzer spaziergang. sightseeing ist zu fuß möglich. cafés und restaurants sind auch leicht zu erreichen. appartment ist mit dem notwendigsten ausgestattet was man für einen kurzen aufenthalt braucht. es ist eine souterrainwohnung. ich war während einer hitzeperiode dort und konnte trotzdem auf die klimaanlage verzichten. der vermieter hat im vorfeld kontakt mit mir aufgenommen und war da sehr freundlich. ich habe die anweisungen bekommen wie ich zum schlüssel gelange (safe am haupteingang) inkl genauer beschreibung wie ich im haus zum appartment gelange und wurde gebeten, weil es dort mehrere türen gibt, die richtige zu wählen um nachbar:innen nicht unnötig zu stören.

das stiegenhaus schaut furchtbar aus. es gibt einen vorraum für mehrere wohnungen. wirkt eher so wie wenn man bei jemandem im eingangsbereich ist weil dort kästen sind und schuhe herumstehen. die nachbar:innen waren leider nicht ganz so freundlich und haben in der nacht vor meiner türe „diskutiert“. einrichtung des appartments ist eher abgewohnt und durch das souterrain gibt es feuchtes innenklima - ich habe mein verschwitztes shirt über nacht über den stuhl gehängt, es war am morgen noch immer nicht trocken. beim lattenrost sind einzelne latten rausgefallen als ich drauf gesessen bin. der vermieter hat sich zwar dafür entschuldigt, meinte jedoch sowas würde doch etwas kraft benötigen - sind in meinem fall 75 kg. 😜

Very dirty apartment. Dust and dirt on floor and sufaces, didnt look like it had been cleaned. Dust and cobwebs behind cupboard and in bathroom. Very thin old towel offered. Window shutter broken and didnt close, so had to stick a blanket in window for privacy. Quite dissapointing after having read good reviews about this room.
