Historical villa in the city center

Traditional wooden house, very charming from the outside. Location literally 3 minutes walk from everything. The place is clean.

1. We asked for a bed set up for 3 friends, on arrival only 2 beds made. When asked the owner for help, ignored us, and only next day wrote back asking us to make it ourselves, as "sheets are there". 2. Communicating with the owner - several hours later, not picking up the phone, several messages needed to hear back. 3. Cold house - portable heaters, some of them unstable (we feared they may collapse on carpets and wooden floors once we were out), some heaters didn't work. Replaced only after several requests and information we will ask for a partial refund. 4. Fire alarm not installed, laying on the table - as heaters needed to be on all the time, this was a serious hazard. 5. Some photos here are either photoshopped or of another property. 6. Location - although near the city centre, you need to get there going down a steep hill which was frozen and slippery. 7. You can hear people staying upstairs. 8.. The place is done up really on a cheap.

We were 8 guests( 6 adults 2children), hot water and shower bit problematic for last two people , no tea towels in kitchen( paper tissue roll provided), top floor single bedroom one french door opening out - very dangerous and fatal; pls block or lock !!

Location and lovely historic building. Good communication with responsive host. Really appreciated the flexibility of being able to drop our bags off

No tea or coffee provided - for the price I would have thought not a big cost to the host but would have added to the experience. Would be great if there was some washing powder too - didn’t make sense to have to buy a large container of laundry liquid for one load.

Great self contained family in good location just up the hill from main town. Well catered kitchen, comfortable beds and great heating.

No instruction manuals on how to use appliances. Watch the slippery walk down to town.

Location was good. Walking distance from where we needed to be and it is located in a nice peaceful area. Quite spacious.

It was very cold and the heaters provided weren't sufficient enough to keep the apartment warm. Could do with warmer blankets aswell. Electricity didn't work in second bedroom so my children didn't have heat or light - host offered to send someone to have a look but it wasn't convenient for us as we had tours booked - and this should have been checked before we arrived. No power to television so we couldn't watch. Shower is extremely small - a regular sized adult can barely fit or turn around in the shower. Only one mirror in the whole apartment so we all had top take turns using the bathroom mirror. You can hear every single footstep from the guests upstairs - we battled to fall asleep and stay asleep because of the disturbances from upstairs.
