Bulls Head, Castleton

Was spotless clean, excellent room well decorated. Breakfast was excellent also had an excellent menu for any other meals. Friendly and helpful staff.

Road through the village was quite busy all the time and traffic could be heard whilst in bed and the traffic seemed to be constant.

Location is everything we could have asked for, comfortable clean room and facilities with a great view of the peaks. Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

Good location with stunning views from our 2 rooms. The cooked breakfast was really good and very well cooked - but breakfast didn’t start early and service was quite slow, so not ideal if you’re keen to get out walking. The pub food was really nice too. Nice warm radiators.

The road (and wind) was quite noisy through the windows.

Very friendly. Good location and views over the hills (depending on room). Good breakfast and chef was happy to cook things not on the menu like omelettes and porridge. Good restaurant for dinner. Room clean.

Nothing really. If people want a bath be aware that all five rooms have just showers.

Another great stay at the Bulls Head in Castleton. Great English breakfast and the staff was wonderful, especially Diane. We will be staying again.

Location was good for a day walking

Room was very small Breakfast was ok but very limited in choice - limited cereals , no pastries , no fruit etc which for the price oer night we thought was poor We expected much more for £166 per night

Excellent staff, facilities, cleanliness. Good food in the restaurant and good breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable.

I found the first room we stayed in rather noisy because it was close to the road. The staff were very helpful and moved us to a different one, which was much quieter.
