Bugana Beach and Dive Resort

Beautiful location. Well equipped rooms. Excellent reception staff. Dive Instructor Jan was an absolute standout! He was fantastic with our daughter. Filipino food was good.

Beach was not kept clean. Beer bottles left at banana lounges for days. International food was not very good at all. Bar staff were less helpful.

1) The breakfast was horrible. The food was swimming in oil. The portions were very small- not enough to last until lunch. 2) In our room the aircon was leaking and dripping on a plug. 3) The rats in the roof were making sure we heard them.

Very Good with a perfect sea view! Recommended.

The beach itself, white sand, beautiful sanctuary

Aircon on top floor wasnt working well. I was sweating the whole night. If its not for the fan, I would just sleep outside. Not safe for valuables. I lost my slippers which I left for few minutes on the sand, and it wasnt busy as no other people who stayed in the hotel were there apart from local children who can freely come and go and play on the area. One of our tyres got nailed on the next day and the care taker of the parking area got angry why we were complaining coz as he said there were never such incident before. My brother checked the car the night before he went to bed at 10pm and it was perfectly fine. I had to pay 1200 pesos extra just to fix the tyre which should have been protected by hotel. We were charge 200 pesos to reheat a small bowl of food which we didnt even eat as it wasnt good. We spent 40,000 pesos more or less for an overnyt stay, we could have done it for free as a compliment. Corkage of 1000 pesos for a lechon but they dont sell a whole lechon anyway if we buy from them. And I should be thankful because the staff said its suppose to be 1500. Too bad as the beach and sanctuary were beautiful but overall I wont be coming back again.
