Excellent location and facilities

Eine einsam auf einem Hügel gelegene, wunderschön renovierte, modern ausgestattete, besucherfreundlich geschnittene, ehemalige Scheune (aus roten Ziegelsteinen) mit einer ganzen Front von bodentiefen Fenstern, die zu jeder Tageszeit einen grandiosen Ausblick auf die umgebende englische Hügellandschaft, inklusive einem kleinen Dorf mit Kirchturm und Pub ermöglichen. Die Heizung funktioniert sehr gut. Das Haus war bei unserer Ankunft sehr sauber. Der Kontakt zu den Vermietern war sehr unkompliziert, und der Check-in funktionierte ganz einfach über eine Schlüsselbox und die vorher zugesandte Anleitung. Wir buchen häufig und schon lange über booking.com und können hier ganz einfach zusammenfassen: die schönste Unterkunft, die wir je hatten!

The views are stunning, complete tranquility. The Barn is a wow as you walk in, loved it. Only thing would have appreciated milk as it is a 10 minute drive in the car to get anything, otherwise excellent.

Beautiful private location with lovely views.

Arrived at the property to no working heating that took a while of our first night to sort. The property felt unloved and neglected with previous guests dishes in dishwasher, dirty kitchenware and a low standard of cleanliness throughout. A shame as such a beautiful property and area.

The property came with quite a lot of rules which was fine, such as not wanting dogs in the bedroom which was understandable but the request dogs don’t go on the sofa in such as open plan area seems abit unreasonable when it’s a dog friendly stay and most people who have dogs allow them on the sofa. We understand that things need to be kept nice but maybe requesting people to wipe their dogs feet after being outside (which is something we do for our two chihuahuas when at home and away) and maybe using a throw to cover a selected part of the sofa to be specifically for dogs whilst keeping the sofa clean:)

Spacious, clean, accessible

The property was as described and had everything, the only limiting factor is that dogs are only allowed in the middle area and not on the sofa. It is only a minor inconvenience and the property is otherwise perfect

Water pressure in bathroom sinks, and water from mains tap in kitchen.
