Oscar’s Hendo Retreat

Perfect amount of space for our family of four. Quiet except for the occasional airplane 😁 Parking spot right at the door. Attentive hosts that even left us bananas 🍌 and banana bread 🍞 Thank you so much! We even got to enjoy a little snow ❄️ during our visit!

Well I would say the driveway in was a bit rough in spots but we are in the mountains so no big deal.

Thank you for the cake we enjoyed it! The home is very cozy and I liked having a tv in each room. Easy to find right off of the interstate. Good location to many different activities and food choices.

I didn't like the road to the home. Very bumpy and not maintained well. The tub needs some non slip stickers or a bath mat for older guests. The bed in the room on the right of the bathroom was hard. Just needs a mattress topper and it would be more comfortable.

Very clean, everything we need plus more! Thank you for the snacks and coffee.

The gravel road on to the property. Could use grading.

The property was absolutely perfect, clean, comfortable, and equipped with everything we needed. The location was very convenient to nearby attractions and stores, making it a great base for our trip. We had some surprise treats and enjoyed perfect touches like extended cords and beautiful throw blankets. We saw white squirrels in the backyard and enjoyed sitting on the porch with the fresh air. Once you get there, it’s totally worth it!

The only downside was the road leading to the property, which was a bit rough and could use some maintenance.

Had everything needed for the kitchen, was a comfortable place to stay. Everything was clean.

In the flight path so you hear planes flying overhead. The street to drive in on was a bit sketchy but had no problems. The road in was a bit rough.

The property is amazing!!!!We loved everything inside and around!!!The house is renovated,very clean and special thanks for some treats!:)The owners are very friendly and helpful with everything!!!!You will enjoy your stay there!

We loved everything!!!

Lots of privacy. The perfect amount of space. Beautiful environment. Excellent temperature control. A very personal touch. We were given delicious treats and baked goods! It was very easy to context the owners if we needed anything. We were close to lots of trails and able to have many adventures. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Road was a little rocky coming in but with the right tires and speed you’ll be fine.

The cottage was cute and quaint, a perfect mountain getaway. We had deer visit us in the morning. When an arrived, we were surprised to have fresh strawberry bread and bananas on the table for us. They also provided eggs and coffee creamer in the fridge. So thoughtful!

I was we could have stayed longer. Loved everything
