Kirkgate Suites - Luxurious City Centre Apartment

This is the third time we've stayed in this block of apartments and once again our stay was brilliant. The location is so close to everything and even though it's in the city center it really does feel very safe (even entering and exiting the building), there is also very little noise at night. The apartment itself is very clean and has everything you need with easy to understand instructions on everything too. We have found the hosts on each occasion to be friendly and extremely easy to deal with. Will definitely stay again.

The heater in living room was not working normally I think.

Location was handy being in the city centre with a short walk to shops, cafes etc. Duvet and pillows were of good quality and bed was comfortable.

Property could do with some updating as some furniture and walls are marked, with decor and bedding looking tired and dated. During our stay we had some issues regarding the bathtub (plug) being broken and therefore unusable. This was one of the main selling points for us staying there. We did reach out to the owners of the property regarding this but did not receive a reply. Additionally, we had issues with the shower as it stopped working and needed resetting at the mains which we sorted ourselves as again no response from previous issue. There was also mould around the bathtub. We also had issues with the wifi, with it being overall very weak or non-existent at times. We did reach out to the owners regarding this and they did say they would try and reboot it. The issue remained during our stay and the owners did not check up to see if the issue was fixed and did not respond when informed it was still not working.

Bed looked comfortable and location is city centre

On entrance the halls had not been hoovered in months. Very dirty and post on the floor. Tv, Internet and heating didn’t work throughout the apartment so had to hot spot my phone. Unable to shower and bath due to broken shower button and broken plug. A smell of sewage also coming from the bathroom. Managed to get the heater in the living room to work but then I noticed water on the floor near the tap so turned it off. Got the heater working in the bedroom but then I was cold and unable to shower/bath to get warm. Urgent phone number just goes straight to voicemail. Think it’s managed by AI so no one was able to help me the first night I was there. Keep that in mind if you’re going to stay here and there and problems. Ended up staying at the premier inn down the road so I could have a shower. Didn’t respond until 1:30pm the next day after I’d booked another apartment because I quite frankly could not stay somewhere that didn’t provide basic amenities. Both myself and booking.com tried to contact the owner to no avail. Until I got a message to say the owner was at the property. A day later after I’d already had to stay at another hotel and book somewhere else. Plus I was away for work so I couldn’t just leave the office 30 minutes away to meet someone that was unannounced. Unable to speak to anyone on the phone and no one called me. Unable to get a refund and booking.com were not able to help with this either. Spent a lot of time on my phone with booking.com to try and sort. Haven’t got anywhere with this either apart from a £34 credit. I ended up staying somewhere else and spending a further £300 in order to have a hot shower, internet, TV etc. Would not recommend staying here. Also there was someone’s douche (for sexual activities) left in the kitchen utensils.

The bathroom was the best bit the kitchen had everything you needed and having a tv in every room was a plus

The water did cut out a few times could only use it for so long before it needed time to reset and the deranged needs looking at but nothing major

Well maintained, central area with loads of essential shops, closer to walk from train station. The place had all the aminities, clean pillows and sheet. Bath was very good. Enjoyed my stay for a week. Will surely go back next time I'm in Leeds.

It’s fabulous but for us a bit focused on added extras - nesspresso, electric curtains and speakers in the bathroom- all lovely perks but a basic coffee pot and more tea bags are more to our taste. Not a criticism just an observation.

Gorgeous sumptuous bed. Beautiful decor. And the bath with a tv was a treat!

Facilities were mostly great

Unable to contact host by telephone even when we encountered problems. Unable to use the shower as fault code. See above.
