Fatima is a wonderful host; her welcome was warm, and the generous amount of food she provided was a delightful surprise. The apartment she offers is very comfortable, set in a beautiful garden with views of Pico mountain and the sea. It served as the perfect, peaceful setting for a relaxing retreat.

There was nothing of note to dislike. You can occasionally hear light traffic from the road, but it wasn't a problem."

Solo después de haber estado en casa de Fátima sabemos que quizás un 10 no sea suficiente. Es difícil decir algo que no se haya dicho ya: marcharse y querer volver. No sé si hay mejor recomendación. Es la huella que nos ha dejado Fátima en un lugar mágico como Pico. Gracias, de corazón, de Ane, de Almu y de Pablo.

The most incredible host we’ve ever met, friendly and helpful: she found us a car, she did pick up us from and drop off to the airport, let us use her laundry for free! Made a delicious cake for us and let us a huge basket with tasty fruits and other food (so sorry we could not finish it!!); if you need literally anything, she will help you! Cozy home with stunning view of Pico Mountain and everything you need for your stay.

A charming little house in a great location, with everything, comfortable, carefully and tastefully furnished. Above all, its owner is very friendly and helpful. She helped us with information about the island and organising the car hire, as well as organising the climb up Pico. We were given a warm welcome, a basket of local delicacies and a very tasty pastry baked by Mrs Fatima. An amazing experience. We recommend it to everyone. Fatima and Jorge were super-welcoming and helpful, the generous welcome basket, strawberry cake, bottle of wine; and also the use of their washing machine and dryer all most appreciated. Handy parking just outside. Close to Madalena and the airport. Sunny terrace at the back and views of Mt Pico.

The kitchen / cooking corner rather; was very cramped and fussy, and not enough surfaces to prepare food; the small dining table would be better if larger, and an occasional table by the sofa would be good. A lot of flies get in the rooms, there's traffic noise especially in the mornings and guests might find Jorge's cockerels crowing at dawn disruptive. The bed was not very comfortable and was 2 singles put together.

Accomodation comfortable and good value for money. Fatima and Jorge are amazing hosts and left us a lovely welcome basket of food. They were always on hand with any issues and information we needed. Would recommend!

It was an absolut dream! Nice, dreamy place with perfect equipment and such friendly and helpful people.
