"Exceptional"

I stayed 4 nights. At first I thought it was too far from shops, stores. But the biggest city, Madalena, is ok for provisions but I would not want to stay there. George and Fatima are wonderful hosts, and left food for my stay. There are beautiful gardens, lovely view of Pico mountain and the ocean, and the cutest dog to pet when you might be missing yours. Really good hiking to the coast ( the guest house is at higher elevation) and vineyards. Loved my stay there.

"great stay in Pico island"

warm welcome by the owners typical old acorean style amazing welcome pack with local food garden and animals bed was very comfy

a bit a smell when we came in water didn’t go very good away in shower

"Great base for Pico exploration outside of Madalena"

Really cozy apartment, super friendly hosts, amazing views on Pico and a welcome basket as a surprise! in the night if the sky is clear plenty of opportunities to watch the stars from the garden.

We missed it by car at first because on google maps somehow it’s on the other side of the road (which can get busy). but once you know where it is, it’s all fine :)

Very nice stay, the house is incredibly well furnished, has literally everything you may need! Our host Fatima was lovely, you can not immagine how many local goods we found at our arrival! The generosity, the kindness, all together with a clean, cozy, more than just turistic place, made our stay unique and absolutely recommended!

"Beautiful place"

The apartment with garden was great and wonderful: very comfortable, clean and with all you need ( private parking, the kitchen has everything and the shower is big). The well-kept garden is big and wonderful! Fatima and Jorge are so nice with us, they also allowed us to make a laundry. And, the most important thing, the basket with local product they give us was amazing!

Nothing, but if I really have to say something, the bed was a bit small for two tall people like us
