I don’t even know where to start because this place was an absolute nightmare from beginning to end. I am beyond disgusted, angry, and disappointed. The photos online are nothing but a scam — completely misleading, showing this clean, beautiful place with a blue pool and cozy rooms. Reality? A filthy, neglected dump. Let’s start with the pool — the main reason I even booked this place. The water was green, full of algae and mold, absolutely disgusting. I had to ask the caretaker multiple times to clean or shock it, and still, nothing proper was done. When I first messaged the “owner,” she had the nerve to tell me she’s on a flight and I should speak to the caretaker. Then the caretaker keeps saying, “It’s safe to swim.” Excuse me? I don’t give a damn if you think it’s safe — the water was visibly green, dirty, and full of bacteria. My fiancé has stitches in his head from a recent accident. The doctor said he can swim, yes — but not in disgusting, bacteria-filled, green water! Who in their right mind thinks that’s okay? It’s not just careless — it’s dangerous and stupid. And the filth doesn’t end there. The room itself was disgusting. Spider webs everywhere, spiders crawling, red ants all over the floor and near the food, dead insects lying around — it looked like no one had cleaned in weeks, maybe months. The carpet was filthy. The toilet and basin were so dirty I had to clean them myself because I couldn’t even use them. What a joke! The Afrikaans saying “Bo blink onder stink” fits perfectly here, and honestly, it’s an understatement. Everything looks good in pictures, but in reality, it’s all just dirt and disappointment. And don’t even get me started on the peacocks. Nowhere did it say there would be animals roaming around. What if someone was absolutely terrified of animals? Or allergic? My fiancé is deadly allergic to spiders, yet there were spider webs that looked like they’d been there for months.

The garden view was good, the bad was comfortable. And Flora was amazing best room attendant. She was good and her service was exceptional

Rooms are to close to each other.

As far as an overnight stay in Germiston goes this was an amazing experience,great value for money,great host and very comfortable cozy room.

Neighbor was a little noisy as the rooms are adjacent,but still doesn't retract from the niceness of the room.
