GBThe cottage was beautiful, it smelt so lovely when we opened the front door. The location was great with only little walk to the Ironbridge which my girls loved seeing.
I wouldn’t put this a dislike just a personal preference really. I would personally prefer the living room to be next to the kitchen not in basement.
GBLocation for our weekend was perfect and the layout of the cottage was ideal.
The lack of a proper shower which was particularly tricky for the taller members of our group. Also the bath plug became stuck and was difficult to remove. The damp wasn’t an issue during our stay due to the weather but the dehumidifiers were full of water and no longer effective.
GBGBGBThe cottage is lovely and clean, and quirky. The beds are really comfy.
The stairs are very impractical if you're not very mobile and everything is on a different level. So you have to go down one set of steep stairs to get to the lounge (which is a little dark), then back 2 flights to get to the bedrooms. But everything was clean, it just should be made more clear to guests that may not be as versatile. Also there is no shower, only a bath with an attachment shower head, but you can't stand up in the bath as the ceiling is too low!
GBGBThis character is bursting with character, clean, super comfy and just gorgeous. From the amazing comfy rooms to the lovely dining room and kitchen, then the basement living room this property was totally phenomenal
