GBLovely decor, perfect for the Christmas period, very clean and good kitchen appliances. The owners left us a lovely Christmas card and chocolates upon arrival too. We loved how it was very dog friendly too.

My friends and I stay in similar cottages on a regular basis. This one so far had the lowest standard of cleanliness. Kitchen equipment of poor standard, burnt pans, smeared glasses, no washing up sponge etc. Mattresses, very low standard. Dingy basement lounge with very steep, sticky staircase!!! Towels with apple sized holes!! Could go on.............

The property wasn't clean particularly the oven and fridge, there was also a pubic hair on the basin and bed sheets. The basement toilet had a bad odour but the most off putting was the odour around the living room and kitchen the odour was like cat urine in addition the kitchen also had a foul smell. I've used booking . Com numerous times and stayed in iron bridge several times I will not be going back too forget me not cottage again .

GBGBGreat location and spacious . Good value for money generally for a group our size at this time of year. You can’t argue with the beauty of the place and it’s a good spot to explore from.
Could do with a few more towels and can’t understand why no freezer in kitchen- or even a small ice box- was disappointing as we had brought items that needed to be frozen. Also a vacuum cleaner and broom would be handy in a house this size- we had to clean on our knees with a dustpan and brush! Nothing to air clothes even though there’s a washing machine in the cottage? Nowhere outside to hang clothes either. Outside stairs need a really good clean. Bin was full to brimming and seemed to have not been emptied in a while. Bit of TLC basically but it was still good value for money … with a few tweaks it would be great.
