La Casa Nostra

Hele aardige eigenaren die Kevin alles konden helpen. De slaapzaal was goed ingericht, je kon merken dat er goed over na was gedacht. De andere faciliteiten zoals wc, douche en gezamenlijke keuken waren ook top. Het familiediner was een super extra waarbij je makkelijk mensen kon ontmoeten.

J’ai tellement aimé mon séjour à la Casa Nostra que j'y suis restée une première fois 3 jours puis ensuite à nouveau 2 nuits. Les chambrss solo sont très bien. Les dortoirs sont evidemment moins confortables mais l’espace est suffisant. C’est propre. Et surtout le principal: Nico et Lisa sont des hôtes géniaux! Les petits déjeuners sont bons et variés. Les free family dinner sont extras!

J’ai tout aimé!!! Sachez juste que c’est à 15 min du marché à peu près. Marcher sous le cagnard n’est pas toujours agréable. Les choses à améliorer ont été signalées et je sais que Lisa et Nico font toujours en sorte de rendre le lieu plus agréable.

La Casa Nostra in Luang Prabang was my absolute favorite hostel during my 6-week trip through Vietnam, Laos, and Thailand. On my first day, exhausted from traveling, I was warmly welcomed and had the chance to join the Family Dinner (for free). Both the hosts and the guests were incredibly friendly and community-oriented—it immediately felt like a home away from home. The breakfast was delicious, and I slept extremely well in the comfortable rooms. I loved it so much that I returned for another night when I passed through Luang Prabang a second time. The host even helped me pick up a package near the train station - a one hour trip - without expecting anything in return. The solidarity and supportive atmosphere at this hostel are truly outstanding. You can feel the passion and heart that go into running it—this is more than just a place to stay; it’s a genuine community. I can’t recommend La Casa Nostra highly enough!

Nico and Lisa were really nice hosts. They reached out before my arrival to make sure everything was okay and that they could meet my needs. They even sat down with guests for a chat, which I found really welcoming. The place feels homey, vibrant, and well-maintained. I also liked the smell (not a strong scent) of the freshly washed sheets which assures me they were new.
