La Casa Nostra

La Casa Nostra is the best hostel I have ever stayed at. The staff are so caring and thoughtful. It feels like you are visiting family when you stay at La Castra. Every sunday, Tuesday and Thursday they have a free dinner for everyone. They create such a wholesome and sweet atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. It creates a really beautiful space for connection. Everyone I met was really kind and social with each other. Anything you need they will help you with. For example, they let me leave some of my luggage here while I went to visit nong kiaw and vang vieng. Each time I came back to La casa nostra. It was so nice knowing I had somewhere comfortable and safe to return to.

La casa does not have branches in more cities.

I am eternally grateful to this hostel for my best birthday ever! The family dinners are simply wonderful! The breakfast is always delicious and unique, and the memories of this place will stay with me throughout my trip around the world!

Everything was great! The hostel was a little more expensive than I could afford, but it was worth it!

The best hostel ever. The staff is amazing, dorms ís big but clean and beds are confy. The AC works perfectly. Breakfast included ís delicious! Good portions, everyday something new and tasty! The best thing is Family Dinner Days. A dinner alltoghether offered from the hostel. This allows the guest to easilu Connect and Exchange information, values and becoming friends. By this, staying at the hostel is like being in a big family. I LOVED IT

I had a private room that I shared with my daughter. The family who runs the house is kind, generous, attentive and keeps the space clean and inviting. There is a communal patio space for people to hang out, meet other travellers and spend time with the family. They offer various services like laundry, organizing tours and forward travel.

There is a different breakfast offered every morning and the family invites everyone from the house (along with a couple other hostels/houses in LP) to a dinner three times a week. There’s nothing to dislike about staying here especially based on the price for accommodation.

Good facilities- socket near bed in dorm, reading light and curtains for privacy. Appreciate the block they placed to help guests get up to top bunk bed. Approx. 20 mins away on foot from night market, in a quiet area. But most importantly, the staff!! A family-run property with amazing staff, who cares about welcoming guests and making them feel comfortable during their stay. They even gave me a packed breakfast for a day when I had an early start! They also do family dinners at their sister hostel- home cooked food was great and it was a good way to meet other travellers. Highly recommend this place!
