VCity Suites at The Teacher

The location was very central and great for the station and loads of food shops, eateries nearby. The bed was very comfortable and the thermostat for room temperature was easy to use. The room was set out well as a studio room and the wardrobe facilities were good.

We felt the room had been set up for a one or 2 night stay. We were staying 5 nights and did not have enough dishwasher tablets, teabags or toilet rolls. We asked the lady on reception for more items and she was very helpful and she wrote in a book in front of her that our room needed consumables to be replenished later that day. This never happened and for the next 2 days there was no one on reception despite us leaving the building after 10 and returning before 6! The sofa was a bench style and extremely hard and uncomfortable to sit on for 5 evenings! The room lights were on a sensor switch so they kept going off when it was inconvenient or coming on in the middle of the night. We tried all the wall switches but could not seem to circumvent this. One bedside light did not work at all.

We had an enjoyable stay until we left.

We left the suite in a good state no damages had occurred. When we booked in we were charged £100 holding deposit. After we left the next day we assumed the deposit would be credited back to us however After a week no deposit has been refunded nor any communication as why this has not occurred. We find this to be unethyical and will not be Recommending in the future .

Motion sensor lights not easy to disable

L'emplacement, le personnel, le fait qu'il y ait un lave linge (pas dans le logement mais en sous sol), calme pour un logement situé en centre ville.

Le fait de ne pas pouvoir ouvrir les fenêtres pour aérer et le quartier reste quand même peu rassurant.
