Could have been a touch cleaner but not a big issue. Slightly cheaper would have been nice but on par with other places. Location was only suitable for driving, nowhere interesting in walking distance.
USWe had wedding parties around us and on Friday night there was a huge fight which was outside our window with horrible language. Sat. night more parties across basketball court loud until after 3 am.
No quiet time after 11 pm. No kleenex in room.

Rooms were old, and needed updating. The main door had zero weather stripping to keep out the air and bugs. The bathroom had no toilet paper holder? It was just missing? There were brown splatters of something all over the bathroom door. The shower head was not a normal shower head. It was painful to stand under and scared my children. I could not even wash my face in the shower. The bed was extreeeeeemly firm. My husband and I slept awful. And the biggest complaint was the amount of terrible noise the AC made in waves. It kept waking me up in the night. For a family of 4 we were only given 2 towels? And there were no extra blankets or pillows to be had.

USThe bed was very comfortable and it was nice to have normal sized pillows, and not piles of extras that you don't need! The location was wonderful. We walked in Dogtown, Ravenswood Park, and Halibut Point, visited Eastern Point Lighthouse and Dogbar Breakwater, walked Good Harbor Beach, enjoyed Seaport Grille, Virgilio's, Mom's Restaurant and Sugar Magnolia. Common Crow Natural Market is directly across the street, great for a quick meal or snack. Observation Point on Atlantic Rd is quite lovely. Gloucester has so many cute little houses with nice gardens. Beautiful old buildings and ocean views. Working harbor.
The drive out to Eastern Point Lighthouse made us feel unwelcome, but once you get there, the Mass Audubon sign made us feel it is ok to be there. Too many entitled rich people trying to keep everyone else out. Huge mansions with big mowed lawns are unfortunate in so many ways. The sink in our room was a bad design, no room to even fit your hand under the faucet!
