The view, the decor, the amenities- a very comfortable and relaxing stay

The electricity tripped twice but we were able to get it up and running with the help of Jackie

Solar used here which is a must for the area. So great to have! Beautiful views, although obstructed by overgrown bush. Lovely large patio with braai area and plenty of seating. A few extras touches here and there, which are always great. (coffee, sugar and soaps) Set in a beautiful estate. Wifi available

1.When we arrived the unused pond was infested with mosquitos and the stench was awful! Couldn't be on the patio for long. (After informing managing agents, it was cleaned the next day) 2. Stovetop did not work 3. Shower door does not close in ensuite, creating a large puddle to step out into. 4. Fan did not work in the lounge. Fan in room was a bit dodge. 5. Cutlery and glasses had to be washed before use as they were very dirty. This was after an email was received stating the the house had been "inspected" beforehand. Beds are small in second and third rooms.

The house was spotless, and we enjoyed the view of Cathkin Peak and Monks Cowl from the veranda.
