GBThe location was great, only 5 minutes from everything and the rooms were a great size.
I was really hoping to be able to give this place a better review but I can't. Firstly it was easy to get the key once I'd worked out where to park (street parking, not private as I thought) and it didn't bother me that there were a few steps to climb up to the 2nd floor... that's expected. Flat is a great size but it is lacking in furnishings to make it look more homely. Worst thing is the state of the place. The carpet is dirty, the windows are broken, the fan didn't work, there's no heating in the bedrooms etc. I totally get it if the owners are on a tight budget but what annoyed me was the laziness. The cutlery was thrown into a drawer with no tray with nothing really matching. It doesn't take or cost much to buy a set and tray, maybe £20. No coffee, teas or sugar and the fridge stank of sour milk. The door handle and coat hook was broken. The ugly coffee table had a leg propped underneath it. It wasn't even screwed in!!! So of course it collapsed and everything fell off. Thankfully it didn't include drinks or a laptop. The whole place could be greatly improved in 1 day. Yes, the windows cost a lot more to fix but in winter it's going to make the place really cold, especially with no heaters in the bedrooms.
GBThe location was good with good views of the sea
The buildings entrance hall and stairs were disgusting and it was a 45 step climb to the flat. Furniture was broken and uncomfortable with coffee table resting on detached leg. Lots of stains on carpets throught the building and flat. The beds had disgusting dirty bed linen that looked like it should have been binned.- Dirty and unironed looked like they had not been washed. Bobbles on bottom sheet and looked like dirty feet had been in them. Kitchen had no toaster microwave or tin openers poorly resourced overall .. not enough for 4 people. Crumpled lino and not secured at kitchen entrance so tripped on it several times. The ceiling height is really low throught the building and hazardous...No lights in passage way between bathroom and other rooms ...if 6ft plus you might bump your head on light shades if 6ft 4 youll be brushing the ceiling. All the floors are uneven which is very disorientating especially when in back bedroom i felt loke i was sleeping on a hill and would roll off the bed. Mattresses were rubbish sot and cheap you could feel the springs.. 2nd bedroom the bed has no legs so you are practically at floor level. There was only 1 broken mirror in 1 of the bedrooms the only mirror in the flat.. Lots of trip hazards all over flat with small steps and poorly fitted lino in kitchen. There were no warnings or descriptions than mentioned any of the quirks or issues of this flat. Very bad not worth the money. No free view tv except the news just to top the lot of other issues. The fan did not work. No I won't return and would be surprised if anyone would. It's a dump. Great pictures that dont show the reality Of this flat. Absolutely spoilt our break away. What is booking.com doing advertising this apartment ? It's a hazard and dangerous.
GBIt was the only place available nearby that was less than £200
The smell as soon as you walk in the block, granted it's not the flat owners responsibility but smells like a alchies flat. Had a stronger shower in the rain the night before. Furniture in the front room was knackered and falling apart. Great communication leading up to the stay but radio silence after! If you are staying here for businesses and need an invoice! Avoid!
AUBeautiful view
45 stairs to reach the flat Run down building however flat had been renovated
GBIt was clean, spacious and quiet and the location was awesome.
One of the beds was not comfortable. The water pressure was rubbish. The cold water pressure was good but no hot water. The tap in the bathroom was just dripping no pressure at all and the shower was the same. There was only one mirror in the whole flat we had to share between 3 of us.

GBIt was a functional apartment, and in a different location would be ideal
There was no hot water in the apartment. We ran for ages and neither the sinks or the shower warmed up! We couldn’t contact the landlords, as we woke at 05:15, and had to leave the property by 05:40! The building it is contained within (Gina Court) was awful in so many ways, and probably needs pulling down!!
