The interior is nice. You feel like in an English medieval mansion.

The room was cold. There was no heating. There was a cockroach in our room. The bathroom smelled of mildew. The towel holders were falling out of the wall. The manager charged a 10% service charge although it was already included in the price on booking. It says they accept cards but they dont and they only want LKR cash. They have a plaque saying they are doing their best to become the best butique hotel in southeastern Asia and they say it is a 3-star hotel. But they are not. I think it must have either had different owners in the past or something must have changed as this place has a great potential that is currently being ruined.
