Chalet With Sea Views

Location, private parking, lovely Jacuzzi bath and more than expected kitchen facilities. For the price you could not fault the facilities or the accommodation. The owners the owners emailed beforehand and gave us instructions on how to unlock the property which we found no problems once we followed the instructions.

Could you use updating the decor but didn’t impact our stay

The chalet is quirky in many respects, in a fun way. The sun lounge allowed an excellent view of the sea, perfect to sit and read, and watch the world go by.

The shower was temperamental - very narrow dividing line between get the setting right - all too often either cold or too hot. The galley kitchen and implements could do with updating. The TV can be temperamental too.

The chalet needs modernising looking tired cracks on ceiling in bedroom toilet brush was discussing had a hard job to open the wall key box garage door rusted out at bottom r/h side and hard to open and tiny in size hard to park car inside I damaged car wing mirror trying to park car inside be better to just have a hard standing instead of garage very noisy outside of chalet didn’t get any sleep until 2am as car parked up outside with teenagers in it with there windows open and boy racers speeding up and down the rd then stopping to chat with there friends in the car park up

The location excellent just what we wanted

The site didn’t meet our cleanliness requirements but we got round that, no obvious place to leave rubbish that accumulates within seven days and access is not good for disabled persons which we should have been aware off at time of booking

The location

Had problems opening and locking the doors. Ended up using large amounts of WD40 on door locks runners for the doors and key safe Found bed a bit hard but probably personal preference

Well appointed, good location

The key didn't work most of the time and I had to leave the place unlocked some of the time otherwise I would not have been able to go out. It was fixed briefly, but then stopped working again. This issue had been notified by previous guests, so it is unforgivable that it wasn't fixed before I arrived.

Location was fantastic excellent views and facilities all at hand great experience . Piece of mind parking in a garage, and nice and tidy

What an amazing location. Directly opposite a lovely beach in West Bay. Jacuzzi bath was brilliant. Everyone need for a short break, even a piano!

A little dated and could use a lick of paint, but actually reminded me of holidays from my childhood. Loved it

Fantastic location, nice layout ,large outside area,parking,right by the sea .

A little tyred, not very clean.needs curtains or better blinds

The chalet was perfectly located on the sea front within easy walking distance of the harbour and the coastal path. On reading previous reviews I was quite worried about the cleanliness of the property but upon entering the chalet it was clean and tidy , yes a bit outdated and could do with updating but overall it was fine. The bed was comfortable and the set of bedding for the sofa bed was clean. I would stay here again.

The downsides were the net curtains as this didn't give any privacy at all and you had to make sure the blinds were closed on the veranda side. The light in the bathroom didn't work and it took us a while to get the shower to work as we didn't realise the switch for both the shower and the jets was in the cupboard in the kitchen area. It looks like a new shower has been fitted and I personally didn't find any issues with it. The sofa bed could of done with a fitted sheet over the mattress but other than that was comfortable enough.
