Byford Lodge Luxury self-catering in Louth

It was in an ideal location for going in and out of Louth. The property was excellent, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, the beds were great and king size the bedding and towels were top quality. The owners have thought of everything to make for a wonderfully relaxing and comfortable stay. The outside seating area was quite and peaceful.

The lodge was very clean and extremely well equipped. The bed was particularly comfortable. The location was peaceful, but very close to the centre of Louth for shops, cafes, pubs and restaurants. We loved the private outside terrace, but didn’t get to use it due to the weather, although it was a joy to watch a hedgehog collecting leaves for a nest in the central flower bed. The perfect place for a relaxing stay.

The accommodation was really nice. Seemed very upmarket to me. It was clean and comfortable with en-suite in the bedrooms. Marshall was friendly and helpful. Honestly couldn’t fault the place.

The lodge is a great location. Close to the town centre and local shops. It is decorated to a high spec and feels roomy and luxurious. The owners left us a lovely welcome gift on arrival. They were also really helpful in recommending local areas to visit.

The location is great - very close to the centre of Louth with it's shops, pubs and restaurants, a supermarket within a few 100m, in a pretty quiet road and well set back from the road.

Only a couple of very minor things - this reflects the quality of everything available, and I am very particular: The dishwasher racks should be replaced as the plastic coating has broken down The scissors were blunt (see what I mean by very minor)
