The location was perfect for visiting Stratford, Leamington and Warwick. The Lodge itself is so cute, private and atmospheric. If you're looking for a place to stay that's peaceful, well located, then this is just right.

Bathroom freezing cold so didn't use shower Needed more lighting especially over dining table. Although didn't mind paying for logs would have appreciated knowing this beforehand. Fire not layed up.

The location. It was 7 minutes by car to Stratford, yet rural enough to feel the peace and quiet.

I found black hairs in the shower when I arrived. There was practically no sugar or coffee, just enough for the first morning, no milk in the fridge either of course. There was only one face towel for two people and no bathroom mat, though this was soon amended when we contacted the host. There was no mention we would have to pay 15 pounds for the logs for the stove, which we did when we realised there was none, so they were promptly brought by the host (we used a few, the rest we left behind, though paid for). The stove was filled with ashes from previous guests, so we also left it like that. The cabin was very cold, as there is no central heating except for two small electric heaters, so the bathroom was freezing. It is a beautiful cabin with a great garden but my feeling is that the cabin is more appropriate for spring or summer stays.

The log cabin is set in a beautiful location, very private with a lovely front lawn. The heating is good, and you can buy logs for the log burner.

We only stayed one night and had everything that we needed.
