Barn conversion with hot tub

Nice area, huge clear TV. Comfy bed. Spacious.

No curtains or blinds in the living room and kitchen gave us no privacy and felt very uncomfortable especially when the people over the road have a clear view into the property. Left with the tiniest bit of toilet roll with no extra toilet roll to be found anywhere. Also a poo stain in the toilet on arrival was vile to see. Looks like a basic check of drawers wasn’t done as I found mucky socks and someone’s old night gown in one of the draws. Pots and glasses had some muck on them still. Drawers in the bedrooms with big glass cracks in. Oven not cleaned at all, was kind of disgusting really, same with the microwave, was just all lacking a good clean which should have been done to reach standards. Hot tub had a weird colour to the water and the top lid of the tub was split in half and had obvious signs of wear, I would definitely consider getting a new one. (overall we did go in it after a few drinks and it was warm and the lights worked. The place in general could do with a good dust in some places. Tv bed didn’t come up and there were no instructions left to how to even use it anyway so it was pointless. Neighbour quite rude at the back where the hot tub is unfortunately. Garden could have done with the grass cutting as it just made the garden look quite scruffy from the outside.

Everything. 1. Lack Cleanliness 2 .broken bits in hot tub 3. Neither tv worked properly 4. No freezer door so all food froze 5. Had to wash all crockery and glasses before using 6. Cobwebs every where. In conclusion there is no way that this property had been cleaned properly prior to our arrival and we came away after just one night stay thoroughly disappointed . With no offer of a partial refund . ( disgusting)

Loved thaving the hot tub to relax in. Spacious accommodation. Great game selection. Parking. Quiet location 7 miles from Lincoln.

Not close enough to walk to a pub but we managed a delivery to The Dairy. There is also a full kitchen available to warm/cook food.

All was great

Beautiful converted barn, with all you would need to make your stay comfortable. The beds were extremely comfortable and the master bedroom had an ensuite. The hot tub was ready and heated to a toasty temperature 👌. Brought games and cards, but the Barn offered a range of games and cards already. Hosts were available if needed and overall it was a fantastic stay.

A few areas of the property show sign of aging and require some maintenance eg repaint Hot tube is warm but had a smell to the water and noted some thick brown deposits at base of the hot tube which we did not use due to concern of skin issues. Being working in medical field we are concern of the cleanliness as well as maintenance of the hot tube which should require daily maintenance when was not evident in our stay. The bin for our cottage was already full when we arrived and we struggle to throw our rubbish during our stay due to bin already full at start of our stay. We also had to clean the fridge before and sink plug area when we arrive at the cottage.

It wasn’t clean the cups and glasses was dirty there was marks all over the walls and pain falling off the bath was dirty. The hot tub we was really looking forward was cold and the water was dirty and smelt and had bits all on the bottle of it.
