Barn conversion with hot tub

Such a lovely place nice and quiet and bonus having the hot tub aswell

The barn its self was beautiful

The property wasn’t a clean as I would have hoped. The fridge and cooker wasn’t very clean and the hot tub was that dirty we couldn’t use it. So very disappointed as it was the main reason I picked the property.

The property itself was stunning. The host allowed us to check in earlier than expected.

Cleanliness, beds were still dirty. Kitchen and bathroom was filthy. The cost would have been worth it had it been cleaned beforehand. Host was not very helpful when these issues were realised and bought to him.

This was a lovely cottage with everything we needed. The hot tub was an absolute bonus. The host was very quick to respond to my question.

The freezer needed to be defrosted but as we weren't catering for ourselves we only needed the fridge.

A little close to neighbouring houses, was told to turn music down at 9 when in the hot tub, and was only as loud as the hot tub jets.

The property itself was lovely, spacious and nicely decorated. The bed was big and very comfortable. Very quiet and picturesque location.

There were a number of small things that just made the stay less than we had expected. The hot tub water smelt stale and when we turned the jets on the water filled with sediment (looked liked skin) like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while- I messaged the host but got no reply. The property on first glance looked clean but there were dog food and a dog ball under the furniture in the living room, the bedding had some stains on it and the en-suite shower had water in the bottom like it hadn’t been cleaned after use. The kitchen appeared to be fully equipped but when we went to cook we quickly realised that there were no oven gloves. There was only a small, thin cloth and 1 thin tea towel so it was difficult to clean any used pots, pans etc. There was only 1 bottle of hand wash in the property despite there being 2 bathrooms. The TV in the bedroom wasn’t working- it was stuck in the sky welcome page- it said you’ll be set to go in a couple of minutes forever, we even left the room and came back but no change. We tried to resync the sky mini box and the original box but none of this worked meaning the TV in the bedroom was not useable. The garden was ok, but the grass hadn’t been cut and there wasn’t really anywhere comfortable to sit. There was a small plastic table with 2 plastic seats and a metal garden swing but it would have been nice to see some cushions to make this more comfortable. The garden was also surrounded by a metal fence but it wasn’t suitable to let pets loose as it was secure and had a number of gaps, the neighbours also often let there dogs come out of the property unleashed so we weren’t comfortable letting our dog out in the garden unless on a lead.

Lovely location, the barn is beautiful and had adequate facilities.

The barn was beautiful but was quite disappointed in the cleanliness. We had to make a complaint as soon as we arrived, our sheets didn’t seem to be clean on, they had a few stains and other peoples hair on them. The washing machine door was broken, the matter was sorted out quite promptly and apologised for. Hot tub did not smell clean and had dirt in. Kitchen
