Barn conversion with hot tub

The host went above and beyond to help set up the living room for my husbands birthday. They even collected the balloons for me which was much appreciated as it was a surprise.

The building was lovely, with decent white goods, shower pressure was great

The lack of privacy, no blinds/ curtains for the front windows which are overlooked. Not much privacy to the hot tub (neighbours cctv) and the garden wasn't really dog friendly with low walls and open fencing. And the neighbours window overlooked the skylight into the bedroom.

Lovely quiet location. Potential to be a beautiful property, lots of natural light. Heating warms up quickly and great large TV. Close to Lincoln city and lots of places to visit.

Sadly, all the previous bad reviews are true. Booked this for a half term mini break for two nights with hot tub, then read the reviews afterwards. Thought I would give it the benefit of the doubt, as surely it couldn’t be that bad, and unfortunately it is. Took cleaning products with me, thank God! Kitchen surface’s made the wipes come up brown. All glasses and mugs dirty and limited cutlery. Freezer door broken in fridge, so like the Antarctic in there as full of ice! Both toilet seats broken, so they swivel around. Had to give them a good disinfection before use, as lots of wee stains and hairs. Beds looked clean, but on further inspection, there were unidentified stains and crumbs on the beds and they did not smell clean at all. Only one pillow each, and although spare ones in the cupboard, they had no pillow cases to go with them. Also, in the twin room, the beds are very squeaky, so every time my daughter moved you could hear it and master bedroom mattress is like a stone slab, it is that hard. For some unknown reason, my husband thought that the hot tub looked and smelled clean, so we went in. Lasted about 20 minutes, as the floating debris put us off and we scrubbed ourselves in the shower to try and get clean again! Due to the lack of cleanliness and poor night of sleep, we a day early. I would suggest sacking the cleaner and getting a new one, and investing some of the disappointed visitors money on renovating/updating the property, as it has such potential and is sad to see it being wasted by lack of care.

This place is not worth the money , absolutely filthy hot tub has never been cleaned. These people are out to just take peoples money

Nice peaceful location

Hearing was reported not long after getting there and still wasn’t sorted when I left. It was freezing. I’ve got messages asking for it to be sorted due to how cold it was but still wasn’t done. I was told in the Friday when I got there that the last people in had broken the tv in the bedroom and they would sort it asap but yet again this wasn’t sorted before I left. People work hard to have these little get aways to destress from everyday life but unfortunately this didn’t happen while I was there due to the problems while there and nothing was sorted. Things should have been sorted before getting there on the Friday. I’ve received no apologies no offer of any money back nothing.
