Mad monkey hostel and lounge

Probably the cleanest hostel I've been to. The owner goes up and beyond to maintain the space clean wich is really nice. He's running the place quite well. It's comfortable and quiet enough for a good sleep. Arriving in a room facing the street, I thought it will be hard to sleep, but that was not the case. And I just love the small front yard, it's so cute, especially in the evening with all the pretty lights!

I wasn't that impressed with the breakfast, especially since I have some dietery requierments. I guess it's ok if it's included in the package, but I wouldn't pay extra for it. But again, I can see the effort the owner puts in that too.

The staff literally spend all day cleaning ! Great location , still central but away from the noise , breakfast is also lovely!

Beds were damp. No windows. Room smelt of damp. Not a nice hostel

Great location and the hostel has a really funky vibe to it. Staff were very helpful

Can't really fault it only thing we noticed a leech in the bathroom in the morning but I'm not sure if that's common in Ella?

Great breakfast included, he was flexible with the time. The wifi is pretty bad though
