Mad monkey hostel and lounge

Nice hostel in an amazing location, walking distance from the train station and all the happening places. The common lounge area was nice with beautiful paintings, staffs including the owner Bidushka and his family were smiling and helpful, and there was free breakfast.

The rooms could be better, a paint job most likely and also the room right next to the door is often noisy due to cars passing in the street. Other than these, a great deal at this price.

The people running the hostel were nice and helpful, however the room itself was not a comfortable experience, the top bunk was very hard to get into and the beds were slightly damp. The bathroom had a horrible smell of damp. The location is good and the breakfast and outside area is nice.

Really nice staff thats very helpful! They have a dog that can't get enough of petting. Very close to nine arch bridge and little adams peak.

Was a bit cramped and too few toilets. But othervise all good.

Okayish hostel but not very social, however it was clean and nice (the beds had curtains so it was a plus). Didn't really have a big common space and as the weather was horrible during my stay the wifi did not work.

The room gets very humid/cold at night

Cozy stay and with amazing ambiance. The host is super helpful and the hostel is walkable to Adams peak and nine arch bridge
