La Casa Safari Cottages

The friendly staff, the garden including a peacock, the open air dining area, and the delicious food. The room had a fan and air conditioner, its own little verandah, and a mosquito net over the bed. There were no mosquitos inside but we used it. It was also very quiet. A lovely place to stay. They even accommodated our dairy free and meat free diet. The food was delicious. All at a very good price.

The bathroom could be updated, hopefully in time. The hand basin had only cold water. The instant hot water system in the shower was giving only lukewarm water. There was no hand towel.

We loved our stay in udawalawe and it was thanks to Shan and his family who took care of us.The mom cooked us an absolutely Excellent meal and I would say the best in Sri Lanaka. Shan is very friendly and a great guide.He does everything to show us as many animals as possible! He also arranged everything for our taxi rides to come from ella and then go Thangalle.The cottages are clean,spacious,clean bathroom with hot water.Great experience!!!

Nature frindly and beautiful treehouse with quiet surrounding.very frindly staff and we tasted yummy food there.They organized great e safari for a fair price.we highly recommende this nice place to others . Definitely we will come back .

Super kind hosts, they even helped us with a private safari in uadawalawa national park., full of elephants. It's amazing. Delicious local breakfast and dinner.

This place was amazing! The accomodation is peaceful and clean with a beautiful garden. We too many photos of birds,The staff made the best dinner we had during our two week Sri Lanka trip. He also packed a nice lunch package for our safari.
