It was walking distance from the center of town and I felt safe walking late at night and early morning. It was a very quiet neighborhood.

It was suppose to be free parking but needed to have a permit to leave the car all day on the block. If you leave the car to walk into town you can get a ticket.

The flat was in an excellent location for where I was doing training for work and was also a short walk from the city centre, supermarkets and the bus and train stations. It had pretty much everything I needed for cooking my own meals and the host had stocked the cupboards which was a nice little added touch. The beds were comfy with plenty of storage space and there was TV/ WiFi etc. Plus everything was clean and in good condition. It was a nice base for my week in Inverness.

The only downside for me being in the front bedroom was noise from the street and neighbours going up and down their stairs woke me up quite a bit on some of the nights during my stay. However, a quick fix for this would have been ear plugs and is outwith the control of the host anyway. In the other bedroom my work colleague wasnt really affected by this. So just call dibs on the back bedroom if you are travelling with someone and take ear plugs as a back up :)

Breakfast was serve yourself from cabinets. All necessary appliances were there.

Kitchen is well-equipped that allows us to make breakfast and dinner there. The dining room is quite cozy. The house is centrally located.

The bed mattress is too soft. It collapsed when we slept on it.
