Post Vacating treatment ruined everything.

Day 6 post vacating the property and I haven't received my breakage deposit as yet( I unfortunately broke the bed side lamp on our last night at the property, which I told the host about before vacating).Luckily I know the price of the lamp since I have it in my house( Its from Mr Price Home worth less than R400) I reminded the host on Tuesday about the redund and for her to deduct the breakage money and she promised to sort it out ASAP. I mean the deposit is only R2000. What could be that difficult about reconciling that. That is the only thing that broke and I wished it had broken during the day as I would have easily gone to the V&A and bought a replacement. Just a warning to future people wanting to book here. The breakage deposit should be paid in cash and paid back on the same day in cash according to the contract. Insist on that. the host insisted I pay before coming . A mistake I regret. I was planning on booking this apartment again in April , but NO. So dissapointed and I hope she will see this and do right.
