Lower Marsh Farm in Cornwall

Quiet location, felt like the escape we wanted but plenty to do on site, especially to keep children entertained. Tennis court, outdoor play area, inside games room, outdoor pool were all put to use by the kids (4 and 2 yo) during our stay. They loved the peacocks and friends roaming about too! The cottage itself was extremely clean and well thought-through to make our stay comfortable. Kitchen well stocked, nice sized fridge, lovely welcome basket of sourdough, delicious jam, cereals, eggs etc. spacious enough for the 4 of us including a comfortable bedroom that accommodated all 4 of us. Bathroom also really spacious. Nice selection of dvds that also helped on the rainy days. Overall there wasn’t anything we were left wanting during our stay. And generally really well located too for exploring the region. Easy day trips to Newquay and St Ives and plenty of local spots to try within easy driving distance as well as a lovely property to explore when we didn’t feel like heading out. Hosts were excellent. Very prompt and professional communication leading up to our stay and on hand for anything we needed while there. Overall an excellent choice for a family getaway and we’d certainly return in the future!

Nothing really. We genuinely loved our stay from start to finish. The only consideration for some might be the narrow country roads into and out of the property which might be a little uncomfortable driving for some if not used to driving those sort of roads.

Situé dans un corp de ferme réaménagé, le logement est idéal pour se couper de tout. L'intérieur est hyper cosy, et équipé de tout ce qu'il faut pour se divertir et cuisiner. Les promenades sur sentier privé jusqu'au bord de la rivière ont ravi notre chien (et nous) ! Le meilleur : le jacuzzi dans le jardin, de nuit en regardant les étoiles ! Cet endroit est fantastique.

Very beautiful tranquil rural setting , lovely cosy cottage with extra personal touches. The apple juice from the farm is delicious, the owners are lovely , the cottage is warm and cosy . The hot tub was very warm once warmed up with logs. The animals around the farm were lovely to see. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Fantastic finish , comfy large bed , nice and warm , so cosy . We are animal people and loved the wildlife , ducks , peacocks, the big ginger cat , so many squirrels and different types of birds to see ,

Staff Service who helped to fire up hot tube, cottage set up and interior, hot tube, kids play room and organic breakfast hamper basket, close to seaside and beautiful beaches, which can be reached within 30-40min

Narrow village roads but this is nothing have in relation to the Lower Marsh Farm as all village roads are narrow and with enough pockets to let apposite vehicles to go through:)

Peaceful, clean and very relaxing.

We stayed in Kingfisher barn and it was really spacious. The rooms were decorated nicely and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was fantastic as had everything you need including a washing machine. Outside the garden is fully enclosed which is great as our dog likes to escape! The hot tub was absolutely amazing with all day sun and perfect sunsets ☺️ There’s lots to do in the area and even our teenagers loved the beaches and towns which were a short drive away. You can get fresh produce from the farm like eggs and apple juice which is such a nice touch.

Maybe a bit more storage in the bedrooms would be good.

Area is very relaxed very quiet seems on another world away from cars just nature

The Clean could be more done bathroom fan very dirty and got cobwebs everywhere just need to watch out for poop by the doors but is a farm so couldn't expect more.

It was so beautiful! From the minute we walked through the door it felt cosy with all the mode cons. Olivia had left flowers, milk , eggs and apple juice which was delicious. After a long journey to get there and these little touches meant so much. The bathroom has the wow factor! Plus having a private garden with hot tub made our time excellent.
