Lam Vien Homestay Hue

Dark and damp. I don’t think the bedding was clean

The owner was soooo friendly, i am so thankful. The rooms quite okay.

I like the homestay just so hard to find a grab at this place. Almost didn’t make it to the Hue Station.

Nice and cozy home out of the city.. the owner is so friendly and nice ..

Washing machine is free to use - we were very thankful for this. Great to have cooking facilities if you want them. The owner is lovely. Scooters for rent.

Bathroom was a bit dirty. Could only ever get a minute or two of hot water and then it would be cold. Air conditioning not the best - maybe the filters need a clean.

Beautifully friendly host met us there to show us around her lovely home. Cooking & washing facilities and a nice open space to make yourself at home. Yes a few things could be kept a little better but the price and homeliness of this house out weighs any negative. A little tucked away which we actually loved in the end but easily walk to a couple of small shops & street food stalls and only a 5-10 minute taxi ride to a long strip of shops & restaurants. Anyone visiting must go to Madame Thu restaurant the menu offers Hue cuisine and it’s really lovely and very friendly staff. We would have loved to stay longer and would absolutely book to stay again if we visit Hue in the future. Thanks for welcoming us to your home.

I booked room with "private washroom". But there's no such a thing.

I got the room with a fairly cheap price. The room was huge for a solo traveler, and the homestay basically had everything you need. It even had a washing machine that I could freely use. The host was super supportive; she went to the homestay early in the morning to help me get in and have a shower, showed me the easy way to get to the main road from the homestay, and also allowed me to check-in as soon as the room is available.

It was not too far from the center but you have to go up the mountain.
