Lam Vien Homestay Hue

Very comfortable bed and well equipped flat.

Our flatmates were pretty noisy in the morning (not host’s fault though). There is massive mold growing on the ceiling of the toilet room.

-The host was incredibly warm person - Rent a motobike is not a problem - there is warm water if you need it - Internet was working perfectly - Piecefull place not far from the center I will definitely stay here again!

The place was clean and quite nice, a peacefull neighborhood. The landlady was really nice and ready to help. It's also possible to rent a really nice bike there. And the neighbors are really nice! There are a little home restaurant at two houses from there and the all familly and clients help us to contact our landlady when we arrive since we didn't have a sim card. Their Banh Mi and chilly sauce are great!

Nothing really. It is a little far from the city center if you are walking (~50min) but if you want a quiet place and don't walk it's ok (motobike or grab). A little advice, don't do a laudry if you're just passing one day there (in February) because it will never dry ;)

Friendly owner, quiet location

Unfortunately not very clean, and also very very dumb, after a few days in this place all my stuff, clothes and bags developed mold on them. Wouldn't stay again and do not recommend.

host was very nice. bed and pillow were so comfortable!!! I slept great. neighborhood was nice.

the host does not live there, so my first 2 nights I had the whole house to myself. my third night, a family stayed and were very loud and kept the door and gate unlocked when they came and left which I didn’t like. this is not the owners fault, since I know she told them to lock it.

Shared bathroom away from the room, not clean. Location is really bad, you have to drive a while to get food, drink or anything. Not a walking place, you need for sure to rent a bike to move around. I rented a bike, Firt one had a flat tire and no mirrors. The owner changed for other bike with no brakes. He took it to the mechanic and it returned the same.

I really liked my stay at Lam Vien Homestay as it was quaint and really comfortable. I adored getting the chance to speak with owner and learn a little more about his and Hue's history. Plus, I arrived so early and they were more accomidating me as I rented a bike and joined one of the other travellers to journey together. My room was ideal, it was on the first floor and had easy access to the bathroom and privacy if wanted. Breakfast and other things were available though I didn't partake as IO have my own dietary means and wanted to see the city which is so full of history and excitement. I finally arrived late in the evening after consuming as much of the wonder that is Hue. I came back to what was supreme quiet and excellent accommodation as I prepared myself some food and go the comfort and quiet of a evening left to my own devices. Being close to both the north and south sides of Hue, I went off to explore as I would leave reasonably early the next morning and was delighted to be so well placed. I really recommend this incredible homestay and encourage you to stay as long as you can because there is so much that makes Hue ideal to travel and experience. Thank you ever so much
