Rum cloud camp

The scenery is amazing. The positive reviews are influenced by the fact that Wadi Rum itself is gorgeous.

The camp is a rip off. From day 1 I felt like the only purpose of it was to squeeze my money out. When I arrived I was picked up by three guys from the parking place. The first thing they did when we arrived to the camp was to request for advanced payment of the tours I wanted to do with them. I mentioned a few times that I wanted to join other people in the tours as I was traveling solo. They kept insisting there was no option to do tours with other people I had to be private tours. For every tour they charged 50JOD or 70JOD. Later I found out the tour prices were not the same for all the guests. Beware, many of the tent bubbles don’t have a proper view as they have other tents in front of them. This is something I didn’t see in other camps around. Luckily I was in the front row of tents with the view because there were very few people in the camp due to the ongoing conflict in the neighbor countries. The tent disappointed me as it wasn’t clean enough, so the view through the plastic window wasn’t the best. They only gave me a towel and there was not even a bottle of water in the room. Even though you can’t go for groceries anywhere nearby. Dinner was okey, but at 15JOD you can give me something better than a chicken wing and some rice. I had shisha after dinner and they charged me twice to change the charcoal. I didn’t take the stargazing tour as I decided to look at the stars on my own nearby the camp. Somehow they found out I wasn’t around the tents and they started calling me in the dark. Even though, I was behind the camp water tanks (to cover the light abs watch the stars better, they told me I was not allowed to leave the camp and if I wanted to see the stars I could have paid for the stargazing tour. Breakfast is supposed to be included, but they wanted to charge me for the water. At this point I was more than fed up. I had a morning tor around Wadi Rum and my “private guide” didn’t even speak English!!

The campus is very nice, stunning views. The bubble where we stayed was sparkling clean. The staff is friendly and nice. The activities they organized (desert Jeep tour, sunrise camel ride, stargazing) were much fun. I would highly recommend this camp!

A day before my stay someone from the camp contacted me and had a communication about my arrival and how we will meet up. He sent me the location and from there i followed him to the place where we can park and leave my rental car. Then we transferred to his car all the way to the camp. I loved the place. It was all i expected. Simple and peaceful. We booked tours from the camp so we can have activities til sunset then came dinner as expected the traditional dish cooked under the sand is amazing. Had a little dance in the bonfire with their staff who entertained us in the evening. We went back to our bubble tent and did star gazing outside.

A beautiful place in the middle of the desert. The rooms are clean and the place has a beautiful view. The dinner was very delicious. We thank the guide Abdullah for his hospitality. A place worth a visit 👍🏻

This camp exceeded my expectations. Very nice camp. The staff was welcoming. Beautiful place in the middle of the desert. Dinner was very delicious. We thank Guide Abdullah for what he gave us. Early in the morning after breakfast, we went on a jeep trip with guide Abdullah. It was a beautiful trip. If you want to go to Wadi Rum, this is the right place.

You’ll get just what you need for your stay in the desert - clean room and sheets, roof over your head, and fulfilling Bedouin dinner. Staff was nice and they came to pick us up from the highway so that we enter the vast desert.

No basic room amenities such as coffee, tea, water.

One of the most beautiful places I visited in Jordan is Wadi Rum. It is a very beautiful place. This is the right place. If you want to live in the desert, this is the right place. very comfortable. The owner is a very friendly guy who caters to all your needs and also has many activities. We chose to go on a 6 hour desert tour. Prices are reasonable. It was one of the most beautiful trips of my life. wonderful place. I recommend it

Beautiful, quiet hotel, great location in the desert. The staff is more than wonderful and their leader is the hotel manager Abdullah. She is understanding and helpful. I requested a room change and they responded quickly. The place is very beautiful and the dinner was very delicious. The best thing is the jeep ride in the desert while watching the sunset. It's a place worth visiting I recommend it 🥰

It was one of the most beautiful trips in my life. I was hoping to live a day inside the desert. This place was very beautiful inside the desert. A place that deserves 5 stars. The room is wonderful with a beautiful view. The most beautiful thing was the activities in the jeep inside the desert and watching the mountains. Wadi Rum is a very wonderful place. I recommend it for a nice trip. 👍🏻
