Rum cloud camp

The place is wonderful, worth a visit. The rooms and facilities are clean. The staff are wonderful. I thank Abdullah for the good reception. I asked for a car to meet me at the airport. Abdullah met me at the specified time.. After that, we went to the camp. I arrived at dinner time, and dinner (Zarb) was food consisting of rice, meat, and vegetables cooked under... The earth is delicious and very tasty... We stayed up under the light of the stars and the moon... In the morning we went to see the sunrise and had breakfast... And I rode in the balloon after booking it a day before... Seeing the mountains and the Wadi Rum area from above in the balloon was very wonderful and very amazing... A very wonderful experience.

If you are heading to Wadi Rum, the could camp is the place to be! We were picked up free of charge from the Wadi Rum Visitor Center by Abdullah and Hassin. Even the ride to the Cloud Camp was an adventure in itself. Just opt for sitting outside on the back of the pick up truck and enjoy the stunning view on the way going through the desert. We have even spotted a black camel on the way. A great opportunity to take some pics and videos as well. Once you arrive in the camp you will be welcomed with some baduine tea at the check in. We have booked the round tents wich are equipped with an AC and an ensuite bathroom. Through the round front window you can enjoy a stunning view of the desert and the surrounding rock formations. And even do some stargazing at night. When you walk between the tents you will literally feel like on another planet. Abdullah and Hassin were also our guides. We recommend the sunset tour as you can experience the desert in the day light and also at the sunset. It was a private tour, so we were given as much time as we wished at each stop, Hassin showed us around and told us about every site we visited. Apart from seeing a cave with ancient scriptures and a giant stone mushroom we also were shown how to make a baduine make-up. When we arrived at the last stop we were offered to go zip lining between the dunes for a reasonable price and there was also an option to go sandboarding. We were right on time to enjoy the sunset and some complimentary tea. After that we were taken on an incredible ride back by the dawn. They also offer star gazing tours if you wish to experience the desert by night. The dinner was an experience in itself because before it starts you will be shown outside how it has been prepared. In the morning you can enjoy a breakfast with a mountain view. We woke up for the sunrise and were rewarded with a desert view surrounded by rock formations and hotair ballons. Wish we could wake up to this view everyday.

We loved everything! We would only swap the two chairs for two comfortable armchairs and a little wooden table to enjoy the views from the tent even more.

The place is beautiful in the middle of the desert and the view of the rooms is very wonderful. The bathrooms are clean. Thank you to the staff for the good reception. It is a wonderful place. I recommend it 👍🏻

Thank you, Rum Cloud, for your hospitality. It was a very beautiful trip in which I enjoyed many and varied experiences, including the experience of sleeping in the desert and the wonderful tranquility, as the camp site is close to mountains and sand dunes... and the experience of skiing on the sand dunes... Also, the individuals were wonderful in dealing and gave a clear picture of... Jordanian culture... and they gave us free drinks... and the jeep tour experience was very wonderful. The air is fresh and the view is fantastic as well... the place of residence is wonderful and comfortable, and the view from the bubble rooms is beautiful and soothing to the sight 🤍.

It’s in the desert so as you can imagine it’s a great view to wake up to

The water was not hot! In the shower infact it wasn’t even luke warm, was really unhappy about that nothing that I want more then to take a hot shower at the end of the day and then you can’t. Especially since I paid 130jod for the night!

I enjoyed visiting the camp. I arrived at the camp in the evening and ate a delicious dinner with many dishes. After that, I entered the room. It was very, very comfortable and I enjoyed a deep sleep. I woke up in the morning and the view was wonderful and beautiful. After that, we went on a tour to see the sunrise, a very amazing view. I took some pictures. I enjoyed the experience of walking on the cold sand in the morning. After that, we went to eat a delicious breakfast. I enjoyed trying bread buried in the dirt. It was very delicious. After that, I went on a tour with the brothers Hashem and Abdullah. They are truly wonderful and kind people. They gave me an idea. Complete and clear about the region and the archaeological sites in it...a truly wonderful experience.
